Description du projet de recherche

This project aims at providing details of how the ACR reaction in concrete take place. It also aims at determining what mineral phases reacts specifically and what are the reaction products responsible of the expansion and extensive cracking. Many test methods were used to study the reaction mechanism. The sequence and reaction products were analyzed through advanced phase modeling (cement paste) and SEM observations.
