Description du projet de recherche
I am developing an innovative strengthening system known as Ultra-High-Performance Fiber-Reinforced Cementitious Matrix (UHP-FRCM). This system combines the exceptional properties of UHPFRC with high-strength fabric meshes, offering an eco-friendly solution to extend the service life of reinforced concrete structures such as bridges. In the lab, we employ Digital Image Correlation (DIC) to gather high-precision data on crack propagation and crack widths in tested samples. These insights are essential for understanding the structural behavior of UHP-FRCM and for validating analytical and numerical models. My research also focuses on modifying existing design equations to incorporate the contribution of this new strengthening system, bridging the gap between innovative materials and engineering practice. In parallel, I work on Structural Performance Monitoring (SPM) to assess the condition of existing infrastructure and ensure long-term safety and durability.
